Dio's vocals went better with Sabbath than Ozzy's. Or, at least '70s Ozzy. Wouldn't know about '80s Ozzy.

yeah dio is the better singer

i was listening to some of the tracks on sabbath's "Live Evil" album with dio as the lead singer... i prefer listening to dio's version of songs like iron man, war pigs, etc. than ozzy's version

Dio IS a better singer. But I prefer the songs from Ozzy era... Dehumanizer and Heaven And Hell are awesome

And also, Ozzy is way darker than Dio, and Sabbath is a dark band, so, he matches with the band better (couldn't find any other word to say that)

No denying Dio's voice is awesome but Ozzy was Sabbath and Black sabbath was at it's best and truely Black sabbath with Ozzy..and of course Tommy Very Happy
