WHAT: GUITAR HERO II TOURNAMENT!!
DATE: December 8, 2007
TIME: Beginning at 11:00 a.m. until finished
LOCATION: Grace Place (Skate Church) Gym, 1603 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, OK
PARTICIPANTS: 6th through 12th grade students from anywhere!
ENTRY FEE: $10.00 for pre-registration; $12.00 day of competition
We will accept a maximum of 32 entries in each skill level: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert
Pre-Register (see below) or Register at the Door from 9 am to 10 am on December 8, 2007. Competition will begin at 11 a.m.
ADMISSION: $1.00 for spectators -- If You Don’t Wanna Play, Come Out And Support Your Local Guitar Hero!!!
PRIZES: Expert and Hard Level Champions will receive Guitar Hero III for PS2!!!
Easy and Medium Champions and 2nd place finishers (all skill levels) will receive Best Buy gift cards

RULES
* Tournament will be played on Guitar Hero II for PlayStation 2. All songs will be played in “Pro Face-Off” Mode. No HyperSpeed or controller modifications allowed.
* Participants must supply their own unmodified regular PS2 controller or Guitar controller. Event staff will not supply PS2 controllers or guitar controllers. Make sure to mark your controller as event staff not responsible for broken, lost or stolen controllers! If using a wireless controller, make sure your batteries are fresh, because if it stops working mid-song, you will not be allowed to retry.
* Single elimination format. The highest scoring player from each match will proceed to the next round. In event of a tie, tiebreaker decided by playoff of a second song selected by event staff.
*All rounds except semi-finals and championship will be determined by random selection by event staff. Random selection songs will be drawn from all 64 songs on the setlist (main and bonus songs). Semi-final and championship round songs will be decided by coin flip, with winner selecting the song of his/her choice.
*Participants must be present and prepared at the time their match begins, or will forfeit.
*Event staff, at their discretion, may bump a player up or down a level, based upon their playing ability. Yeah, that's right, no sandbagging.
PARTICIPANTS MAY ONLY ENTER ONE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY TOURNAMENT! This is to let everybody have a chance to rock!
