Doesnt seem strange to me... lots of idiots like to say those are the best metal songs because they never ACTUALLY buy the CDs

Plus , Triviums gunshot to the head of trepidation isnt on there making the list completely illegitimate to me

But seriously.... if I made a 40 greatest metal songs... NONE of those songs would be on it , some of the artists yes but those are by far not the 40 best metal songs.

More like... the 40 metal songs that made it onto MTV and the radio somehow

Don't look at me! I didn't decide the list. If I did, it would be totally different. It would have Aerosmith, Van Halen and A7X AND it would be VH1's 100 Greatest Metal Songs hosted by Synster Gates, not Sebastian Bach from Skid Row.
