Rock band is for NOOBS.

Rock band is a piece of crap , clearly its for noobs to music who have only recently discovered the radio.

My point is, they can afford to put the hit radio singles on because they're expanding everything and choosing good bands that have great tracks. Sure, Enter Sandman is dull, but it gets a lot of attention, and I can spend a little extra to get the Metallica I like.

Rock Band isn't choosing uber-mainstream songs because they think they're the best possible choices... RB is choosing mainstream songs to expose some more in-depth music to the public.

The main setlist might end up being for "noobs who just discovered the radio," as you put it, but it will lead to better DLC.

I think Harmonix knows what they're doing.

Enter Sandman=Instafail=TRUTH. It has LITTLE parts in which I like (ie. Tom Sawyer). Other than that, it's a bad game and will poison the minds of many kids that play rhythm games into thinking that ES is a good song. *works on picket signs saying "ROCK BAND IS TEH SUXXORZ. LISTEN TO REAL MUSIC n00bs."*

Rock Band's gonna suck. it only has a few great songs anyway.

well i like Won't Get Fooled Again, Tom Sawyer, and Don't Fear the Reaper.... and Go With the Flow, Paranoid and Rockaway Beach aren't that bad either (not great but still...).... everything else is meh.
