Trust me... if rock band pulled out my favorite songs in the world ... I would buy it and I would still buy guitar hero 3

Its really not a which is best thing... because rock band doesnt even slightly compare... if you look at my color coding of RB vs my color coding of GH3s songs... clearly I actually hate rock band and clearly I actually like GH3

Man rock band I think their theme is just clean and non offensive rock N roll that a family could like play together

I mean all of it is pretty straight foward rock N roll no metal no punk no anything odd that might be annoying to someone... just clean and straight rock n roll... which is boring lol

Just to set things straight, I DON'T listen to the radio at all so if a song is overplayed or such, I really don't care. I'm just judging the songs on how much fun I think they're going to be + how much I enjoy them.

Black Hole Sun This song will be really fun all around, but I can't call myself a Soundgarden fan.
Blitzkrieg Bop Short, really repetetive, I'm just not a fan of punk.
Brain Power The operative word in the title of this game is ROCK.
Celebrity Skin Eh, don't care for this song at all, but playing through won't be horrid.
Cherub Rock This song is growing on me TBH, I like the drums and chorus.
Creep Don't like Radiohead
Dani California I like this song, should be fun with my RHCP friend.
Detroit Rock City A good choice for Rock Band, features some cool bass, and it's one of my friend's favorite songs.
Don't Fear the Reaper I really love this song, Astronomy would've worked better, but this is still awesome. The only downside is the weak bass.
Enter Sandman Has a lot of potencial, I haven't seen a note chart, but the drums and guitar sound fun.
Epic This looks to be a relatively hard song for each instrument, I really want to sing this song!
Foreplay/Long Time I'm super happy about this song! Good to see Foreplay is included, I wonder how many drummers will fail it @_@

Go With the Flow This song has been growing on me since it was announced; it should be easy, but I don't care because it rocks.
The Hand That Feeds I really don't like this song at all, nothing about it sounds like fun to play.
Here it goes Again Could be fun to sing, but other than that, I can see it being boring for the other instruments.
Highway Star Could be one of the harder songs in the game, I love Deep Purple as well as this song, perfect pick IMO.

In Bloom My favorite Nirvana song, and Im not really a Nirvana fan at all. A good pick for the band.

Main Offender A short song with a sad excuse for a guitar solo.
Maps I rarely get nervous, me and my friends are all actors. But this song is gonna be the worst, most awkward song of the bunch.
Mississippi Queen Even though it's short, I really like this song, it'll be a blast to sing.
Next to You I'm not a Police fan at all, but this song actually sounds fun, Stewart Copeland is a great drummer, so Im happy.
Orange Crush I haven't heard much of this song, but the drums sound fun.

Sabotage This song sounds surprisingly well-rounded, although I'm sure everyone's gonna be fighting over the mic.
Say it Aint So The lyrics make 0 sense, and the whole song is just boring. Some people may get joy out of the chorus, but not me.

Welcome Home Should be fun to play, can't say I like the singer, but the guitar work sounds great.
Won't Get Fooled Again Has the best possibility of being the final encore (already confirmed to be for the drums) and it's a great song. This is what Rock Band is about.

Overall, I'm getting the game. This is going to be the ultimate party game (already plans to have it at my work's staff party) and the songs in my opinion are pretty good. It's just that a fair deal of the songs are alternative rock from the 90s-00s as well as classic rock. It just seems like the songlist wasn't made for people like Tony. And it's a shame that people like him won't be able to enjoy it as much as people like myself will. But who knows, maybe the bonus songs and DLC may bring something of interest?

Maybe if they make some really good DLC for RB I might buy it after its for sale as the game by itself... and then just play it as if it was guitar hero cause theres no way I could afford $170 even if I did want it
